This is the third set of subject + verb loaded worksheets that can help you target numerous goals… such as syntax and verb tenses in both expressive and written language. And if you want to practice ‘she’ and ‘he’ or other pronouns, then why not?! You can definitely do more than what the instructions say and adapt these sheets to your child’s needs.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE IT CURRICULUM RELATED?
Once the child is able to use the structure with these worksheets, you can then apply it to themes, units and books that make up your child’s curriculum. I like to describe illustrations in the child’s books, go on a Google images hunt for things related to the child’s theme and make silly stories using subjects/objects/places/verbs related to the curriculum unit.
This supports the Common Core Standards:
L.K.1: Use frequently occurring nouns and verbs
L.1.1 Use verbs to convey a sense of past, present and future.
